Simon Time

We accidently stumbled on a wonderful thing. A few weeks ago as Aaron was heading to bible class I asked him if he could take Miriam since she wasn’t going to sleep anytime soon and I was really struggling with a sinus infection. He did and I ended up with about 45 minutes to spend alone with Simon. I haven’t had time like that with him in probably 2 years, it was great. I miss him. He has a great sense of humor and lots of interesting ideas. So now it’s our routine every Wednesday evening. Last week he found his cowboy hat in his room and wanted a photo shoot. There are about 20 pictures of him in pretty much this same pose everytime. He’s decided to be a cowboy next year for Halloween, and I have no doubt that he will remember that come next October.
