Uncle Ty’s New Boots

Simon had so much fun with these boots. At first he was a bit confused when Uncle Ty opened his birthday present, I guess he doesn’t think boots are a suitable gift. But then he was just astounded at how big and heavy they were. The first trick was to pretend to lose his arm in one of them. He got them both on his feet and stood so proudly (doesn’t his face just tell you how cool he knows he looks?). Then he took on the challenge of walking across the room in them. He was laughing so hard every time he toppled over, I didn’t think he would ever make it. But he finally did. Once.
