We’ve been robbed!

Who took our Spring? Yesterday Simon was in shorts, Ty took the kids to the park for the first time this year, and the snow was almost completely gone. This morning? Everything covered in snow again – we got 6 inches!!! And the kids are so dulled to snow that they didn’t care at all. That’s sad. One of the best things about a snow is hearing your kids get up and run into your room yelling “Snow! Snow! Look at the snow!”. Then snuggling on the couch in pj’s as they press their faces to the window and jump up and down in and out of your lap just so excited to get out there and play. This morning as Simon headed for the cartoons he casually glanced out the window and said quite calmly “Huh, it’s coming down pretty fast.” We did go out and play in it, but I think we’re all tired of the snowmen, snowangels, etc. Miriam enjoyed another round of snow-snacking, but even she has had enough, she kept holding her handfuls of snow out to me saying “Eat snow, Mama, eat!”. Maybe she thought eating it would make it go away faster. No desire to take any more snow pictures…
