Will facing the consequences really work?

Yesterday morning Miriam and Simon were playing in the living room. Miriam decided she wanted to climb into the box of train pieces. I told her not to climb in there because she would hurt her feet, then I went downstairs to check the laundry. Moments later I hear a thud and a desperate “Momma!”. Running up the stairs to face the disaster I see Miriam bum down stuck in the train box. So like a good mother, I grabbed the camera.
