The Green Mile

This weekend we got to spend some time with our good friends Ant, Lyd, Jack, and Ellie down in Bloomington. It had almost been an entire year since we made that trip last.

Jack is a funny little boy who loves his cars. Almost as much as Simon loves his. At one point, they were both lying on the floor in the play room just driving their matchbox cars around. Perfectly content being in the same room, laying in the same position, doing the exact same thing, but both in their own worlds.

We gave Simon and Jack a bath on Saturday night. Anthony and I were in there with them and Ant hinted at me to watch what Jack was doing. Jack slowly started to point at Simon’s penis and after a few moments he said “he has a tail”. I also noticed that they looked a bit a like which was something I never really had seen before. The Johnson genes are strong I suppose.

Ellie was a beautiful and happy little girl. Miriam, Simon, and Lydia loved her. Especially Lydia, she has been enjoying all the new babies to snuggle with. Maybe it’s that new baby smell that she just can’t go without.
